Satellites, detached (2017)

The main focus lies on the telescopic mirrors. Each one of these reminds the viewer of satellites that are tilted in different directions and, under certain circumstances, send out signals into their surrounding area. Once a spotlight hits a mirror, its reflection appears - in most cases isolated and secluded, resembling a moon observing what is happening beneath it. The mirrors stand on fragile-looking transparent gears, fixed onto steel with a metal frame surrounding the composition.

Materials: Medium-Density Fiberboard (MDF), acrylic glass, stainless steel, aluminum, telescopic mirrors, gear motor
